Hackney Road was inspired by the collections of toy cars in the V&A Museum of Childhood in Bethnal Green. It features a plethora of colourful vehicles weaving their way across the fabric.
Hackney Road is part of the Private View collection for Autumn/Winter 2020. Private View is split into four gallery stories, reflecting a long-standing commitment to the arts. Each room of this imagined art gallery represents a different facet of the Liberty Fabrics story – from Arts and Crafts heritage motifs to lushly detailed floral studies, witty conversational pieces and archival Eastern-inspired textile designs.
