Hand drawn and painted in watercolour in the Liberty Fabrics studio, Le Temps Viendra was inspired by the Elizabethan focus for surface decoration, especially in the form of embroidery. It depicts a complex floral pattern reminiscent of the detailed work of miniature artists like Nicholas Hilliard, who took particular pleasure in depicting the small details of surface pattern within paintings.
