Snowdrop Belle was originally created for Liberty as an Art Nouveau furnishing fabric, printed in 1896 – a small floral drawn in a typical stylised trail, featuring monochrome snowdrops on a spot background.
The design is expertly printed in Italy on Lilestone Wool, a soft, light pure-wool base that’s naturally breathable, high in UV protection and even hypoallergenic. Lightweight yet warm, Lilestone Wool has a fine twill and a soft handle that can be worn comfortably against the skin. Use this lightweight wool to craft wide-leg high-waisted trousers or a puff-sleeved prairie maxi dress, to channel a dreamy, vintage-inspired mood.
