Description
A perennial Liberty favourite since 1979, this classic Arts and Crafts design was originally created by William Morris in 1883. It was inspired by birds stealing fruit from the garden. Liberty Fabrics first produced Strawberry Thief as a furnishing fabric in 1979 and it has since been redrawn for Tana Lawn on a smaller scale.
This range showcases some of Liberty Fabrics favourite heritage archival designs on organic Tana Lawn® cotton, which is GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certified as well as featuring an Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 rating. Organic Tana Lawn® is prepared and mercerised through a slightly different process, resulting in a soft, warm hand feel and lustrous colour.
